Process and time taken

In Steel structures most of the components are pre-manufactured off site and can be assembled quickly and efficiently anywhere. Minimal on-site labour is required & nearly 20% to 40% reduction in construction time can be achieved, depending on a project’s scale. As steel often allows less points of contact with the earth, the amount of excavation required is also less. Only a smaller, simpler foundation is needed due to the lighter weight of structural steel when compared to concrete. All these factors contribute to considerable resource efficiencies and economic benefits like accelerated project schedules, reduced site management costs and an earlier return on investment.
